How long does one prank take?
Photo pranks are usually ready in 10 to 20 seconds. Video pranks take about a minute depending on length and how busy the lab is.
What do I need to upload?
One clear, well-lit photo is enough for most templates. Some templates ask for a second photo, like a car or a front door, and the template tells you before you start.
Do you keep my photos?
Uploads are used to make your prank and nothing else. You can delete any upload or result from your library at any time, and we do not sell your photos or use them to advertise.
Can I prank someone who isn't me?
Only with their photo and their permission. PrankLab is built for harmless fun between family, friends, and anyone in on the joke — not harassment, bullying, fake evidence, or anything meant to deceive strangers.
Is there a watermark?
Yes on sensitive templates. Paid plans can remove the visible watermark on everyday comedy templates only. Every export still carries AI provenance metadata, and the product labels results as AI-generated.
What won't you generate?
No IDs, bank docs, police tickets, warrants, emergency alerts, medical results, real brand logins, or panic content. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the full list.
What formats do I get?
Photos download as high-resolution JPG or PNG. Videos download as MP4, sized for WhatsApp, Instagram Stories, and TikTok.
How do credits work?
One photo prank costs one credit and one video prank costs three. Credits refresh every month on paid plans and never expire while your plan is active.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — if something went wrong with a generation, email hello@pranklab.io within 14 days and we will refund the credits or the payment.
